Canadian Ski Patrol provides their service every weekend,
when there is snow on the trails, and at special events.
A fully equipped toboggan and first aid area is available.
AED (automated external defibrillator) and oxygen unit are now on site for the 2009-2010 season!!
Thank you to Wasaga Beach Provincial Park for lending the units to Highlands!!!

Congratulations to Cathy MacKay who received the John MacKenzie Award for the new patroller whose initiative in all phases of patrol work is judged to be the most outstanding. Cathy patrolled 34 days at Highlands, competed in the zone competition, kept a weekly check on the AED and oxygen unit and patrolled at Mount St. Louis. |
Congratulations to David and Nancy Colwill
who received the Nordic Award for the patroller(s) who significantly contributes
to the advancement and development of Nordic Patrolling in Central Zone.
David and Nancy , APL's at Highlands,built and maintain a large data base of Nordic volunteers
for Nor-Am, Nationals and future events.
